Installation Instructions. You can print this manual or save it to your computer for future reference. The manual lists the tools required for installation.
A. Window/Door remote sensors each require two (2) AA batteries, (not included). The water sensor requires two (2) AA batteries and one (1) 9V battery (not included).
A. The
REO Sentinel™ base unit should be placed where most of the “foot traffic” or activity within the house should take place. Do not face the unit directly toward sunlight or an uncovered window. Prior to installing the unit, take a photo using your cell phone or other digital camera so that you can preview the area where the unit will capture activity. If you do not like the view from your device, you will probably not like the view from
REO Sentinel™. Try a few locations throughout the property prior to making your selection. If you do not like the location of a unit following installation, simply move the unit to a more desired location in the property.

REO Sentinel™ device. You will see references to an “Activation Button” which can be used as a reset to clear memory and allow you to re-register each remote sensor in the order and location desired.
